Religion Vs. Spirituality

I have been taught from an early age, to honor my religion. Religion had always been a very important part of my life.

I had been raised a Roman Catholic. I had been taught that "sex is evil". I find most Catholics' are hung-up on "sex", thanks to their church.

I discovered later in life, that there was a difference between Religion and Spirituality. Religion should lead you to Spirituality. However, my experience is that religion leads you to religion.

Or we might restate this: Spirituality is the body of Christ is the people in the pews, the community; whereas Religion is the buildings and bureaucracy of the Church.  The bureaucracy can get in the way of spirituality or real Christianity.
